Awesome burgers here! We went here late, near losing but they had great service. I called in the order but unfortunately they did not have the onion rings which is fine, they refunded that and gave us free churro ice cream! Very cool of them! What I got: Garlic Fries : 5/5 The stinker lingered though for like days lol maybe we should of brushed out teeth better lol NV Elk Burger : 5/5 Just good, I love me some burgers. I was so excited to see that they had lettuce on there lol Ambiance, they had some retro game machines. Didn't get to play with it was heavily enamored with it lol Overall great place to grab some food when in truckee or staying at a cabin and are tired of cooking lol Also forgot to take pictures was just so hunger that I ate it all lol

Yummay! Anytime I'm in Truckee and craving a burger I stop by this burger joint! The people at the front are awesome and the burgers are made fresh! A highlight for me are the onion rings! They are BIG and I'm guessing beer battered because they have this awesome crispy crunch to them! The burgers are cooked perfectly and make you happy when you see them come out! Pro tip: make sure you remember to pay for parking when you pull up :)

This place is awesome! Loved their smash burger. Enjoy a shake or beer! The sweet potato fries are the best. They are super accommodating when you build your burger. We love their kid's menu options.super laid back, perfect spot after skiing.

High quality burgers and more. The cowboy burger was excellent. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was crispy with a delicious buffalo sauce and coleslaw. My only wish is that they put more of the delicious Cole slaw on it. Homemade fresh onion rings were superb. Fries very good and crispy. Service was cheerful and efficient. Ambience is what you'd expect for a burger place. Prices are not cheap but the meats are quality. I like how they have a great variety so you can go with friends who may not like burgers or meat and everyone still gets a delicious meal. They do not rush you along so you are free to enjoy your meal with friends. Parking is as usual what you'd expect in downtown Truckee although they are just at the beginning of the strip so it's not as hard to find parking.

A busy burger joint located in Downtown Truckee. You place your order at the counter and then pick up your food. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, and when I read that the sandwich had the Cole slow and buffalo sauce, I was sold! I was not disappointed. My boyfriend ordered the cowboy burger; he enjoyed it but could not finish it because it was enormous. My son had a cheeseburger with fries. It's a very laid-back atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Finding parking can be challenging.

Great visit! We stopped by last week when passing through the area. Not a ton of seating available, and they were quite busy at lunchtime. We only saw paid parking, could be a lot but we didn't see one. The restaurant has a cool vibe, good menu, service friendly. We ordered some burgers, fish Sando, Big Dippa, fries & o-rings...as well as a shake to-go. Every bit of the food was enjoyed. My mom could only take down half of the fish. My daughter and I shared a burger and the Dippa, both really good, but we both found the Dippa to be extra tasty. Highly recommend that! The o-rings were a bit batter heavy for my liking, but aside from that the rest of the food was terrific. Very good scratch made strawberry shake...no pull of the shake machine handle here.

First time to this little burger shop in town. Apparently, it is a popular little gem everyone else already knows about! They were busy but quick to serve food on a weekend afternoon. We stopped in after snowshoeing with an outdoor group. There were so many options to choose from I could not decide! I ended up splitting an ahi burger and a beyond burger with my dad so we could each revel in half of each kind of burger! Both were amazing - dad even bought Beyond Burgers from the store after having it here! Now that is saying something! Parking was plentiful right out front and was inexpensive. I can't wait to return to try out other items and I will definitely get their fries next time!

I love that this is a local place that has weathered a pandemic and an economic collapse and is still in business. It is a testament to how good their food is. It shows that this was born from a place of love for great food. I love the Southwest Turkey Burger, sometimes I get it with a beef patty instead of Turkey. The bacon, green chiles, and chipotle mayo take it to another level of artisan burger! The sweet potato fries are amazing as well. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. I love being able to sit on the patio with friends and enjoy a great burger in such a beautiful area.
